Legal entities 

One of the first steps when registering your business, is to decide the legal form for your company. Will it be a Private Limited Company (BV), a sole proprietorship (eenmanszaak) or a professional partnership? Or will it be a foundation or association? There are pros and cons to all legal forms, depending on the situation. We’ve listed them here for you.

Permits and licenses

To be active as an entrepreneur, you must be in possession of one or more permits or licenses. These permits or licenses are issued by the local government (Public Entity of St Eustatius or Saba). A number of permits may be required depending on the activities you are going to develop. Read more

Fees and tariffs

As per 2022 the annual contribution rates, for organizations registered in the Business Register, will change. The annual contribution will depend upon their legal form (such as sole proprietorship, association, limited or private liability company). Read more
